The Internal Bank Security Department (IBSD) strives to maintain an environment which provides security and safety to employees, assets, treasures and infrastructure of the Bank by using modern security equipment backed by a strong internal security force. IBSD has also restructured and strengthened its internal monitoring mechanism particularly, it has installed modern security equipment to achieve the desired security environment. IBSD also liaises with various Security / Law Enforcing Agencies and ensures proper implementation of security guidelines/ instructions across SBP, SBP-BSC and its Field Offices and other subsidiaries.

We also ensure proper placement of firefighting equipment and conduct of evacuation exercises for meeting contingencies and BCP/disaster plans/situation.

In addition, IBSD also provides emergency support /disaster recovery, in case of BCP activation. In addition to above, IBSD identifies, analyzes and effectively responds to various security risks through the process of threats and risk assessment.
