Mr. Jaffarey joined the Government Services on August 20th,
1948. His illustrious career includes several important posts, including
Secretary, Finance Department, East Pakistan, Secretary, Finance
Department, West Pakistan; Chairman Planning and Development Board,
West Pakistan; Secretary, Ministry of Commerce; Secretary, Ministry
of Industries, Fuel, Power & Natural Resources; Secretary, Planning
division, Ambassador of Pakistan to Belgium, Luxembourg European
Economic Community, Brussels; Secretary General, Planning and Development
Division & Deputy Chairman, Planning Commission, besides holding
several consultancy assignments with the World Bank from time to
time. |
