REVISION OF SELECTED CHAPTERS OF FOREIGN EXCHANGE MANUAL
 The State Bank has revised the following chapters of the Foreign Exchange Manual:

Title of the chapter
1 1 Introductory
2 2 Authorized Dealers
3 3 Authorized Rates of Foreign Exchange (This has been revised and merged into Chapter 2 i.e. Authorized Dealers). Further, a new chapter with the title “Restricted Authorization to deal in Foreign Exchange” has been created which has been numbered as Chapter 3.
4 4 Forward Exchange Facilities
5 5 Foreign Currency Accounts of Authorized Dealers and Purchase and Sale of Foreign Currencies.
6 7 Non-Resident Rupee Accounts of Foreign Bank Branches and Correspondents.
7 19 Loans, Overdrafts and Guarantees (This chapter has been comprehensively revised).


The drafts of the above revised chapters are available for reference. All stakeholders are requested to review the revised chapters thoroughly and furnish their suggestions/proposals, if any, on the revised chapters at email: [email protected] by July 14, 2017.
