NOTIFICATION

In pursuance to the Scheme of Amalgamation of HSBC Bank Middle East Limited (HBME Branch Business) with and into Meezan Bank Limited, sanctioned on September 22, 2014 under Section 48 of the Banking Companies Ordinance,1962 (BCO), the State Bank of Pakistan in exercise of powers conferred on it by Section 27 (4) (i) of BCO, is pleased to announce that the banking license of HSBC Bank Middle East Limited (HBME Branch Business) will stand cancelled effective at 11:59 pm on October 17, 2014.
