 SBP is looking for high  caliber and dynamic professionals for the contractual positions in Banking  Inspection Departments (I & II), based at  Karachi.

                              |  Inspecting Officer - Information Systems |   
                              | 
                                The  responsibilities of incumbent will include but not limited to perform the  following tasks:
 
                                   
                                    |  | Carry out IS inspection of assigned  institution. |   
                                    |  | Assess Information  Security Policies, Procedure, and Frameworks etc. Identify gaps in existing IS  frameworks of assigned institution. |   
                                    |  | Review IS risk assessment  of IT infrastructure. Assess the threats, vulnerabilities and risks associated  with critical IT & Information assets. |   
                                    |  | Assess effectiveness of  security controls implemented for the protection of IT & Information  Assets. |   
                                    |  | Review security  infrastructure and security monitoring systems. |   
                                    |  | Review internal and  external vulnerability assessments and penetration testing reports. |   
                                    |  | Assess risks and controls  associated with project management practices for in-house developments,  outsourcing and procurements. |  
                                    |  | Review compliance with applicable  regulatory requirements, international standards and best practices. |

                              |  Eligibility 
                                  Criteria: |

                                  | Education: | 
                                    
                                      | Masters or Bachelors with 16 years of education in  Information/Computer Science/Technology/ Engineering related field from HEC  recognized University with effective report writing skills.

                                  | Age: | 
                                    
                                      
                                        | Maximum    30 years, relaxation may be allowed in case of highly qualified and more    experienced candidates.  |    |  
                                  | Experience: | 
                                    At least 2 years  post qualification experience including freelancing in any of the fields of  Information Security/Cyber Security, IT/ IS Audit, Configuration, Deployment or  Management of Security/ Communication Devices, System Development/ Deployment  or Network/ Systems/ Database Administration/ Management. Professional Qualification: Preference will be given  to certified professionals in the field of information security.
