OPEN HOUSE
As part of 70-year celebrations, SBP arranged the following activities at its Banking Hall of Karachi Office that remained open for public from 10 am to 5 pm on July 1, 2018. The activities were divided into the following categories:

| Commemorative Coins and Prize Bonds |
Keeping in view the extensive public interest, special counters were set up for the sale of Commemorative Coins and Prize Bonds to visitors. Visitors were able to buy coins and Prize Bonds from these counters.

| Exhibition of Currency Cycle |
This section housed stalls showcasing the currency cycle and other activities as below:
- Currency designing and printing processes;
- Live demonstration of Currency notes examination/counting machines, prize bonds draw, live demonstrations of Desktop Notes Sorting (DNS) and Countertop Notes Sorting (CNS) machines; and
- Video display of state of the art notes processing system (BPAS Machine used by SBP).

| Showcasing of Modern Banking Practices |
This section displayed the latest trends in banking practices including the following:
- Display of Live services on Mobile Wallets and allied features along with facility to install mobile applications;
- Working of ATM machine along with POS machine;
Various materials on the following were also on display:
- Awareness on Ways and methods to avoid ATM frauds.
- Working and features of PayPak cards.

| Awareness on Fraud Prevention |
Stalls in this section were an extension to depict secure practices in modern banking and displayed various materials on the following:
- Security features of payment system in Pakistan
- Features of Bank Cheques and precautions when issuing/using cheques

| Fun Arena |
This section provided opportunities for visiting kids to participate in quizzes, puzzles, games and other fun activities. |
