Please refer to our Letter No. Ref No: DS.BS. 5(1) / 2011-125 dated January 26, 2011, wherein all scheduled bank were advised to submit monthly statement of rate of return (ROR) on loans and deposits through SBP data acquisition portal (DAP) by 13th of the following month to which it relates. Banks are also reporting data on concessional loans separately to this department vide our Letter No. Ref No: DS.BS. 5(1) / 2011-649 dated May 24, 2011.

To broaden the scope of monthly ROR statement, Statistics & DWH Department has modified the existing template by incorporating the type of financing (as defined in statement of loans classified by borrower - A 07) in the revised statement of ROR. Additional categories of concessional and non-concessional financing under type of financing have also been added in the statement after the brain-storming session with selected banks followed by a half-day briefing session with all bank's officials on 4th June, 2012. Banks have been reporting the data on the  new template through email vide our email dated 19th June, 2012 for trial / testing with effect from June, 2012 in addition to regular submission of the old format through DAP.

In order to facilitate banks, State Bank of Pakistan has decided to acquire information under the revised template of ROR (v2.0.4) from all banks through DAP for the month of January, 2013 to be submitted by February 13, 2013 and onwards and discontinue separate reporting of concessional loans through email and existing ROR statement through DAP.

The revised data acquisition format version v2.0.4 (MS-Excel based) will also be available for download from Knowledge Centre of the following URL.
