Please refer to FE Circular No. 02 dated June 02, 2007 of Exchange Policy Department and subsequent circular letters (DS. PD.91.62/2009-479 dated March 09, 2009 and DS. EA. Gen. /2008-496, dated February 28, 2008) issued by Statistics & Data Warehouse Department on the subject regarding inclusion of NTN information in International Transaction Reporting System (ITRS).
Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has converted 7- digits NTN into 8 - digits with the inclusion of check-digit effective January, 2011. Accordingly, changes in ITRS application have been made and ADs may download new version of ITRS from SBP website using the following URL:

Authorized Dealers (ADs) are advised to ensure strict compliance of the following while recording and reporting Foreign Exchange Transactions:-
a) Report only 8 - digits NTN through ITRS (including check digit without any separators in the form of hyphens or spaces).
b) NTN of business should be reported against each transaction. In case where the NTN for individual being a director / owner / partner of a business entity is identified as remitter / beneficiary of transaction, NTN of the respective business entity must be reported through ITRS.
