Please refer to State Bank’s circular No. DS. MFS. 5(18) / 2010 – 982 dated August 5, 2010, under which banks are required to submit monthly Flow of Funds statement (Annexure A03), Statement of Deposits Distributed by Category of Deposit Holders (Annexure A05) and Statement of Loans Classified by Borrowers (Annexure A07) to Statistics & DWH Department through DAG Portal of SBP with a lag of 5 days i.e. 5th of the next month to which data relates w.e.f. July 2011.
Keeping in view, the problems faced by the banks in meeting the deadline for submission of these returns, a meeting was held with PBA representative on October 08, 2011 and it was decided that the subject statements would be submitted to the Statistics & DWH Department according to the following revised time schedule. The revised time schedule will be effective from October 2011.
- Deposits Distributed by Category of Deposit Holders (Annexure A05) will be submitted by 6th of every month following the reference month.
- Loans Classified by Borrowers (Annexure A07) by 8th of the following month.
- Flow of Funds (Annexure A03) by 10th of the next month.
It should however be noted that the above revision in the submission dates is temporary and the time lag will be reduced at a suitable point of time in the near future. The banks are therefore advised to enhance their reporting systems accordingly.
