Please refer to this department’s circular letter No. DS.BS.1 (2) / 2002- 1389 dated 19th February, 2002 and subsequent letters wherein banks were instructed to submit up-to-date position of branches opened/closed/merged/shifted on the prescribed format during the period under reference.

2. In recent past, many changes have taken place in administrative structure of the country. This urges the need for an updated position of branch network with details of new geographical location according to latest changes in administrative units. To update our database, all banks are required to report details of their branches as per annexure A. Details of all branches in operation on June 30, 2010 may be submitted to this department by July 27, 2010. Instructions regarding details of branches closed/ merged/ opened/ shifted during a month will be communicated through a separate circular letter.
