Please refer to BRD Circular No.2 dated 16th March 1993 where banks are required to submit the following statements to this department through floppy diskettes and hard copies by the 20th of the following month to which it relates:-

1. Liabilities & Assets
2. Loans Classified by Borrowers
3. Deposits Distributed by Category of Deposit Holders

At present the above statements are being received in Statistics & DWH department in old format as well as through DAG portal of SBP in the new format under following statements:-

1. Sectoral Balance Sheet (Annexure A – 03)
2. Loans Classified by Borrowers (Annexure A – 07)
3. Deposits Distributed by Category of Deposits Holders (Annexure A – 05).

To reduce the burden of dual reporting on banks it has been decided to discontinue the hard copy returns (Old Format) w.e.f. July 2008. Banks are now required to submit the data in new format through DAG portal of SBP by 20th of the following month to which it relates. You are advised to ensure accurate and timely submission of all returns.
