The statement has great utility for compiling the flows and stock positions of foreign private longterm project loans, registered with our Exchange Policy Department, State Bank of Pakistan used in the compilation of Balance of Payments, and International Investment Position of Pakistan.

Authorized dealers register short-term/long-term inter-company non-project loans and trade credits that are not being covered in the above statement. In order to capture the data on these activities of the authorized dealers, they are requested to provide data on foreign private loans registered as per Foreign Exchange Manual 2002, Chapter XIX, Part B through email to [email protected] by the 10th of the following month to the reference month. Please use template file available at link http://www.sbp.org.pk/departments/stats/private_loan.xls for reporting data from the month of January, 2008. We advise the concerned officer to read the instructions carefully before filling in the tables. The “Agreement Summary” sheet of the template is of unvarying nature and requires filling once.
