Fixed Industrial Investment in Private Sector-Submission
of Quarterly Progress Report

For economic analysis of industrial growth, all scheduled banks and important DFIs are providing the captioned statements on quarterly basis to State Bank of Pakistan as per Circular Letter # BP&RD (MBSD)/Ru-11/31 (D) /X/ dated the 7th August, 1997. It has been decided to adopt the standard format of industrial groups in accordance with the International Standards Industrial Classification rev. 3.1. All reporting institutions are therefore required to furnish the requisite information under the revised statements effective from June 2005 on quarterly basis. The relevant statements have been revised and enclosed:

1, ORIGINAL COST OF PROJECTS APPROVED DURING THE QUARTER IN PRIVATE SECTOR
2, SANCTIONS OF FIXED INDUSTRIAL INVESTMENT DURING THE QUARTER IN PRIVATE SECTOR
3, DISBURSEMENTS OF FIXED INDUSTRIAL INVESTMENT DURING THE QUARTER IN PRIVATE SECTER.
4, RECOVERIES OF FINANCE DISBURSED AGAINST FIXED INDUSTRIAL INVESTMENT IN PRIVATE SECTOR

The remaining statements will however remain unchanged. The due date for submission of the above information is also the last working day of the month following the quarter to which the information relates.
