Please refer to SMEFD Circular No. 02 dated February 14, 2011 along-with other instructions issued from time to time on the captioned subject.
In order to enable Micro Enterprises to benefit from the captioned Scheme, the scope of the Credit Guarantee Scheme has been extended to include Micro Finance Banks as eligible Participating Financial Institutions (PFIs); whereby, they would be able to extend loans from above Rs. 150,000 up-to Rs. 500,000 to Micro Enterprises for a tenor not exceeding 5 years.
