Please refer to SMEFD Circular No. 01 dated January 22, 2009 and SMEFD Circular Letter No. 01 dated February 27, 2009 on the captioned subject.

2.     On the representations of exporters/banks/DFIs, it has been decided to extend the deadline for captioned facility from March 31, 2009 to May 11, 2009. Therefore, the banks/DFIs may expeditiously consider/finalize the requests of eligible borrowers and submit complete cases with the concerned office of SBP-BSC (Bank) for deferment of the principal amount of installments for one year period keeping in view the terms and conditions of above circular/circular letter. However, offices of SBP-BSC (Bank) shall not receive any such request after May 11, 2009.

3.     All other instructions, on the subject, shall remain same.
