About Us
Training & Development Department (T&DD) was setup in August, 2007 by upgrading the Training Unit of the then Administration Department, with specific objectives of capacity building and skill development of human resources in SBP Banking Services Corporation, on continues basis.

The Change Management initiative and Organizational Development depends on the availability of competent workforce. The aim of Training & Development Department is, thus, to fill the gap between the existing and desired level of competencies through need-based trainings. The training priorities and short and medium-to-long term action plans of Training & Development Department  are broadly aligned with the strategic objectives of the management.

The Department arranges training at premier institutions through best and relevant resource persons available, in-house expertise is continuously being developed by conducting Training of Trainers (TOT) of various modules/programs especially in computer and soft skills for a select group of employees identified through a rigorous selection procedure.

Training & Development Department has been striving constantly towards the focused capacity building by indentifying and addressing the skills gap between desired level of performance and the actual capabilities of SBP BSC employees.  The Department is now in the process of proactively upgrading its resources and infrastructure to fully support the needs of organizational development and capacity building in the Corporation.  It is structured into three Divisions on the basis of relevant work streams.  National Institute of Banking and Finance (NIBAF), being the prime partner of Training & Development Department, caters to designing and imparting the quality training programs.
