Human Resource Management Department (HRMD) performs functions which are strategically important and critical to SBP BSC including talent resourcing, employee development, compensation and benefit management, performance management and industrial relations. It is further responsible for continuous review of all policy aspects pertaining to HR/Training & Development areas and ensures implementation of all policies in accordance with the overall mission/vision of the bank
The Department, through its multi-pronged strategy, aims to enhance the HR capacity of this organization through structured talent management and play a major role in successful implementation of targeted change management initiatives for organizational transformation. It is also firmly committed towards principals of integrity and merit based decision making which are among the primary attributes of this esteemed organization.
HRMD is also entrusted with the role of supporting the Corporate Governance Framework of SBP-BSC. For the purpose, it houses BSC’s corporate secretarial function and therefore assists the Board of Directors and its Committees to perform their role. Accordingly, the Department acts as a medium between the Board and the Management, so as to ensure that the Board’s decisions are implemented in letter and spirit.
It facilitates the management to develop and implement strategic plans and to define business goals, in line with the Mission and Vision of SBP-BSC. Furthermore, HRMD also coordinates and monitors the Business Planning exercise across the organization.
