NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of Sub-Section (2) of Section 37 of the State Bank of Pakistan Act, 1956 and in terms of Section 43(2) of the Banking Companies Ordinance 1962, State Bank of Pakistan is pleased to direct the de-scheduling of MUFG Bank Limited with effect from the close of business on January 31, 2020 as the bank has ceased to be a banking company on account of cancellation of bank’s license under provisions of Section 27(4)(i) of the Banking Companies Ordinance 1962 subsequent to winding up its banking business in Pakistan.
