Museum Collections

Museum´s collections comprising of Coin Galleries, Stamp Gallery, Currency Gallery, History of State Bank of Pakistan, Governors Gallery, and Art Gallery, depicting coinage from its evolution till contemporary period, Stamps which were used as Currency in the interim period between Coinage to Currency, leading the visitors to Currency Gallery.

History of SBP and Governors Gallery are depicting the History of SBP from its establishment in 1948 till to-date, and the Governors Gallery is comprised of the Historical background of functions and responsibilities of the Governors of SBP along with their brief profiles.

The Art Gallery is a major component of the Museum, display of Sadequain´s murals and other rare paintings in the collection.

  • 1930 - Born in Amroha, UP, India
  • 1954 - First solo exhibition in Quetta

  • 1960 - Awarded Tamgha-e-Imtiaz and first prize in National Exhibition
