Attention of Exchange Companies (ECs) is invited to EPD Circular Letter No. 16 dated July 27, 2015 and subsequent related instructions regarding import of cash US Dollars against export of permissible foreign currencies (FCYs) from Jinnah International Airport (JIAP), Karachi.

It has been decided that import of cash US Dollars against export of permissible FCYs shall also be allowed from Allama Iqbal International Airport (AIIAP), Lahore through SBP Booth located at International Arrival Lounge of AIIAP, Lahore from April 1, 2016. Accordingly, ECs exporting permissible FCYs from Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and Peshawar airports may import cash US Dollars from JIAP, Karachi as well as AIIAP, Lahore.

The procedure defined in above circular letter for import of cash US Dollars from JIAP Karachi shall also be applicable for AIIAP, Lahore. However, only those incoming flights must be chosen which are scheduled to arrive at AIIAP, Lahore between 16:30 hours to 23:30 hours from Monday to Saturday. Further, related annexures of the above circular letter have been amended accordingly.

All other instructions on the subject shall remain unchanged.
