Dear Sirs/Madam,
Exports of Fresh Fish, Vegetables, Fruits, Poultry and other Goods of
Perishable Nature

The attention of Authorised Dealers is invited to Para-18 of Chapter XII of the F.E. Manual (Eighth Edition—2002) regarding the above subject.
In this respect, it is clarified that the instructions contained in the aforementioned Para are applicable for export of only those commodities, against which the condition of Advance Payments or Irrevocable Letters of Credit have been specifically mentioned in the Export Policy Order issued by the Ministry of Commerce (MoC), Government of Pakistan. In case of export of other commodities, perishable or otherwise, all permissible modes of exports like D.P, D.A, etc, shall be followed as contained in the foreign exchange rules and regulations issued from time to time.

It is reiterated that in terms of Para-11(iii)(f) of Chapter XII of the F.E. Manual (Eighth Edition—2002), it is not necessary to issue documents of title to the order of an Authorised Dealer as required under Para-11(i) or to the order of a bank in the country of import as required under Para-11 (ii) for the exports of fresh fish, vegetables, fruits, poultry and other goods of perishable nature. Except for cases where Advance Payment in full (100%) is received, it is not permissible for Authorised Dealers to release the shipping documents to the exporters for dispatch directly to their buyers/consignees. The concerned Authorised Dealer will confirm the status of shipment through Customs records against their relevant E-Form(s).
