Dear Sirs/Madam,
COMPENSATORY
SUPPORT (7.5% DUTY BORNE
BY THE POLYESTER INDUSTRY) ORDER, 2008
Attention
of Authorized Dealers is invited to EPD Circular Letter
No. 09 dated November 08, 2008 enclosing therewith a copy
of Ministry of Textile Industry’s SRO No. 1045(I)/2008
dated September 19, 2008, in terms of which Compensatory
Support @ 7.5% as per prescribed procedure has been allowed
to the existing PTA users or consumers as mentioned in the
said SRO.
Now, Ministry of Textile Industry vide SRO No. 1299(I)/2008
dated December 22, 2008 has made certain amendments in its
earlier SRO.
A copy of the SRO. No. 1299(I)/2008 containing revised/amended
eligibility criteria, terms & conditions and procedure
for filing claims for compensatory support, is enclosed
for strict compliance by the Authorized Dealers.
Authorized Dealers are advised to bring the above to the
notice of all their constituents.
