MOBILIZATION
OF FOREIGN CURRENCY UNDER PAKISTAN NATIONAL DEBT RETIREMENT
PROGRAMME
Attention
of the Authorized Dealers is invited to the instructions
contained in Para 5 of our
F.E. Circular No.2 dated the 24th
February, 1997 in terms of which Authorized Dealers
are required to furnish a statement in the format given
therein.

The aforesaid format of the Statement has since been revised
and the revised format is enclosed herewith. Henceforth
statement in the revised format should invariably be furnished
to us within two days from the date on which deposits /
donations have been received irrespective of its supply
to any other quarter. For example the statement in respect
of funds received under NDRP on the 1st March,
1997 should be submitted to Mr. Tasadduq Hussain, Director,
Foreign Exchange .Department by 12.00 Noon on 3rd
March, 1997 at the latest. It will be the responsibility
of the Coordinator / Resource Person appointed in terms
of our Circular letter No.7 / FEP-16(326)-97 dated the 27th
February, 1997 to ensure submission of the statement within
the stipulated
time. They will not leave the office
before its submission. Any failure to comply with this time
schedule would attract action under the relevant provisions
of Foreign Exchange Regulation Act, 1947.

Circular No.2 dated the 24th February, 1997
remain unchanged.
