DEALER SELECTION FOR THE YEAR 2004-05
Applications
are invited from interested financial institutions for appointment
as Primary Dealer for Government Securities for the year 2004-05.
For this purpose, EDMD Circular 8, dated July 5, 2003 regarding
criteria and rules governing Primary Dealers, may be referred.

The applicants are requested to furnish the following information
along with the application:
1. Latest
Annual Report
2. Summary
of Secondary Market Transactions in PIB/FIB as well as MTBs
during the year 2003-04
Application
from current primary dealers must reach Exchange and Debt
Management Department, latest by May 20, 2004 and from non
primary dealers latest by May 31, 2004.
