In order to streamline and realign the working between the departments, the following mentioned functions being performed by the Banking Policy & Regulations Department has since been transferred to Consumer Protection Department:.
I. Unclaimed Deposits,
II. Utility Bills & Pension Issues.

All banks/DFIs are requested to invariably address all their correspondence relating to above mentioned functions to Head, Consumer Protection Department in future.
3.
In addition, all periodic returns/statements relating to Unclaimed Deposits and Utility Bills shall also be submitted to Head, Consumer Protection Department.
