SBP Memorial Chairs in Economics

State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the Central Bank of the country, regulates the monetary and credit system of Pakistan in the best national interest with a view to secure monetary stability and foster economic growth. SBP also promotes research activities and publishes various reports covering major macroeconomic sectors of the economy.

As part of its endeavor to enhance the standard of teaching and research in economics, especially in the fields of monetary policy, exchange rate management, capital flows, financial sector stability, and economic growth, SBP has established Chairs in the honor of its former governors in various public sector universities.

SBP seeks applications from renowned academicians/ researchers for recruitment against the following vacant Chair positions:

In case candidate is shortlisted, he/she will have to produce original alongwith attested copies of experience certificates, educational documents, CNIC/ Passport, copies of their publications, recent photograph(s), proof of distinction if any. Candidates serving in government/semi-government/autonomous institutions will have to produce NOC at the time of interview. Please mark the envelope with the position applied for.
