State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the Central Bank, is looking for talented and energetic candidates for the following contractual position in IT Operations Department (ITOD), based in Karachi.

Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following:

• Manage IT requirements, demand planning, and rationalization across business departments and subsidiaries.
• Prepare IT budgets, cost estimates, business cases, and procurement plans.
• Conduct market research and coordinate with OEMs and authorized technology partners.
• Manage end-to-end procurement of IT equipment, products, and services.
• Prepare RFQs, bidding documents, technical specifications, and carry out technical evaluations.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with Bank policies, regulatory requirements, and applicable procurement rules.
• Manage IT inventory, store operations, asset receipt, tagging, capitalization, issuance, reconciliation, and disposal.
• Maintain accurate IT asset records and monitor asset lifecycle and utilization.
• Manage vendor relationships and monitor delivery, service quality, warranty, and technical support.
• Administer IT contracts and SLAs and ensure vendor compliance with agreed terms and service standards.
• Validate vendor service delivery and invoices against contractual and SLA requirements.
• Coordinate with different departments such as Finance, Legal, Risk, Audit, and other subsidiaries of the Bank to ensure service excellence.
• Support internal/external audits, regulatory reviews, risk assessments, and closure of audit observations.
• Prepare MIS, management reports, procurement analyses, inventory reports, and vendor performance reports.
• Ensure strong governance, internal controls, documentation, and audit trails across IT procurement and asset management activities.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization, process improvement, standardization, and efficient utilization of IT budgets and assets.
• Perform other IT procurement, asset management, vendor management, and related responsibilities assigned by higher management.
