Specialist / Senior Specialist – Product Management & Delivery

Role Summary:

The role supports the design, analysis, implementation and continuous improvement of assigned Raast products, use cases and payment solutions. It translates business and ecosystem requirements into functional designs, transaction flows and implementation requirements, supports analysis of integration and production issues, coordinates assigned implementation activities with participants, technology teams and vendors, and maintains the documentation and evidence required for effective technical and business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following:

  • Support analysis of new and enhanced Raast products and use cases, including business requirements, transaction flows, participant roles, settlement behavior, exceptions and dependencies.
  • Prepare business and functional design documents, process flows, use-case specifications, feasibility assessments and concept papers.
  • Review participant, vendor and internal technology inputs against approved requirements, and identify gaps, inconsistencies and unresolved dependencies.
  • Develop working knowledge of relevant Raast APIs, ISO 20022 message flows, integration patterns, participant interfaces and settlement processes.
  • Coordinate assigned implementation activities with participants, Raast technology teams and application vendors, including agreed milestones, dependencies, testing activities and issue closure.
  • Review implementation plans and status updates, validate progress against available evidence, and highlight delays, risks or dependencies requiring intervention.
  • Support System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing and market rehearsals, including preparation of business test scenarios, analysis of failed cases, defect tracking and validation of closure.
  • Investigate implementation and production issues by gathering relevant transaction information, system responses, participant observations and technical evidence, and prepare a preliminary assessment before escalation.
  • Analyze transaction behavior, failure patterns, participant feedback and operational exceptions to identify recurring issues and potential improvements in product or solution design.
  • Support change requests from initial problem definition and impact assessment through requirements clarification, development coordination, testing and release readiness.

Specialist / Senior Specialist – Data Analytics & Service Excellence

Role Summary: 

The role produces the reporting and analysis that show how Raast is performing and where service performance can be improved. It builds and maintains dashboards and standard reports from approved data sources, produces recurring and ad hoc analysis on transaction volume, success rates, use-case adoption, participant activity and service performance, investigates anomalies, recurring issues and service trends, and supports monitoring of service levels, complaint and incident trends to identify opportunities to improve participant and end-user experience.

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following:

  • Extract, prepare and validate Raast transaction, participant and use-case datasets from approved sources, working within approved reporting layers and access authorization.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards and standard reports covering transaction volume and value, success rates, rejection and return trends, use-case adoption, participant activity, service availability and other agreed service-performance indicators.
  • Produce recurring analysis of participant adoption against assigned targets across banks, microfinance banks, electronic money institutions, payment service providers and government entities, and highlight material gaps, trends and areas requiring follow-up.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis in response to questions from product, participant management, commercial and operations teams and service-performance requirements, within agreed timelines.
  • Investigate anomalies, outliers and unexpected movements in transaction, settlement and dispute data, establish the likely cause and report findings with supporting evidence.
  • Analyse service-performance data, including agreed SLAs, turnaround times, complaints, incidents and recurring service issues, to identify trends, bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support preparation of participant and service-performance scorecards and provide analytical inputs for periodic service reviews and follow-up actions.
  • Track agreed service-improvement measures and report whether interventions are producing the intended improvement in service performance or participant experience.
  • Maintain measure definitions, calculation logic, data dictionaries and extraction documentation so that a measure carries the same meaning across every published output.
  • Apply validation and reconciliation checks before release so that published outputs agree to approved source data, and report discrepancies to the responsible data owner.
  • Monitor scheduled refresh of reports and dashboards, and investigate failures and delays.
  • Prepare analytical and reporting inputs for regulatory, board and senior management requirements, including government disbursement reporting, service-performance reporting and management scorecards.

Specialist / Senior Specialist – Raast Scheme Compliance

Role Summary:

The role monitors participant compliance with Raast Scheme Rules and applicable regulatory instructions, and maintains the central compliance and participant coverage records for the Raast ecosystem. It reviews scheme documentation, issues scheme broadcasts and advisories, identifies instances of non-compliance from participant data, and maintains the management information on which compliance reporting, regulatory coordination and audit response depend.

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following:

  • Monitor participant compliance with Raast Scheme Rules, circulars, regulatory instructions and operating procedures against prescribed timelines, and track outstanding observations to closure.
  • Act as point of contact for compliance queries from Raast participants regarding Raast Scheme Rules.
  • Support the enhancement and execution of compliance procedures and controls.
  • Review Raast Scheme Rules and related operating procedures on a periodic basis, and initiate amendments in line with regulatory, operational and business requirements.
  • Prepare and issue scheme-wide Raast Broadcasts and scheme advisories through the approved content-confirmation and communication workflow, and maintain the central register of issuances, participant acknowledgements and compliance status.
  • Review participant reports, exception reports and compliance submissions to identify instances of non-compliance, operational deficiencies, unusual trends and recurring issues.
  • Maintain MIS covering participant profiles, scheme memberships, enabled use cases, compliance observations, corrective actions, agreed timelines, responsible stakeholders and closure status.
  • Maintain the record of periodic reviews and assessments of government entities, regulated entities and non-regulated entities, and present key findings, compliance status, risks and outstanding observations to senior management.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, participants and other stakeholders on effective implementation of regulatory and scheme-related changes.

Specialist / Senior Specialist – Digital Marketing

Role Summary:

The role supports planning, execution and monitoring of RPP’s digital marketing activity across online platforms. It prepares digital content, coordinates campaign deployment with internal teams and agencies, maintains website content, monitors campaign reach, engagement and conversion, and reports campaign performance to the approved reporting line.

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following:

  • Support planning, execution and monitoring of digital marketing campaigns across approved online and social platforms.
  • Prepare digital marketing content including social media posts, banners, infographics, videos, newsletters, blogs and promotional material for approval.
  • Coordinate timely deployment of approved campaign creatives, content and promotional material to scheduled publication dates.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies on campaign production, delivery and issue resolution.
  • Update and maintain website content so that it remains accurate, current and consistent with approved branding guidelines.
  • Apply user experience and search engine optimization practice to digital content, and maintain consistency of brand identity across digital platforms.
  • Monitor campaign reach, engagement and conversion metrics, and prepare periodic performance reports for the approved reporting line.
  • Maintain the digital content calendar, creative asset library, approval records and platform access inventory.
  • Recommend approaches to improve digital engagement, customer outreach and campaign effectiveness on the basis of performance data.
