State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the Central Bank, is looking for experienced IT professionals for following contractual positions in IT Programs & Project Management Department (ITP&PMD).The positions are based in Karachi.

Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following:

• Develop and Launch Enterprise and Industrywide Web Applications to Automate Business Processes and Workflows using Oracle Apex and other related development platforms.
• Business Analysis, Application Design, Development, Coding, Testing, Deployments, Performance Tuning and Post-implementation Support.
• Implement Secure Code Development practices through Sec-Dev-Ops, Analyze and Fix Security vulnerabilities and maintain necessary documentation.
• Migration and re-engineering of legacy applications (e.g., Oracle Forms, older APEX versions, or other custom-built Applications) to latest Oracle release.
• Any other Task assigned by the supervisor.

Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following:

• Develop Core Banking Application on Temenos Platform to Automate Banking Processes and Workflows using Temenos Development Framework.
• Business Analysis, Application Design, Development, Coding, Testing, Deployments, Performance Tuning and Post-implementation Support.
• Implement Secure Code Development practices through Sec-Dev-Ops, Analyze and Fix Security vulnerabilities and maintain necessary documentation.
• Any other Task assigned by the supervisor.

Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following:

• Perform Database and Application Installation, Design, Configurations and Administration on Production, Development and Testing DB and Application Environment on Linux or Windows Operating System on On-Prem and Cloud environment.
• Performance Tuning, Backup Management, Recovery and Optimization.
• Monitoring, Logging and configuring security parameters.
• Setup and perform DR Drills
• Provide necessary support to Application Development and Operations Teams
• Undertake and complete any other technology/IT systems related task/s assigned by the superior.
• Any other Task assigned by the supervisor

Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following:

Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following:

• Review and Analyze Product Specifications, Business Requirements, Technical Design/System Requirement Specifications and Solutions architecture documents and identify and report early defects
• Design and develop test plans, test cases, test scripts, procedures on multiple projects of varying size using automated tools.
• Identify, analyze and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content.
• Execute manual and automated test cases for web, mobile, and enterprise applications.
• Perform various types of testing including functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure Sec-Dev-Ops).
• Maintain version-controlled repositories of test artifacts, documentation, and results
• Work closely with developers to reproduce, analyze, and resolve defects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between quality objectives and project deliverables
• Contribute to defining and implementing QA standards, metrics, and best practices and comply with organizational policies and procedures.
• Any other Task assigned by the supervisor.

Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following:

• Architect, Design, Build and Implement innovative end-to-end AI solutions from Data Engineering to deploying sophisticated models using on-prem and cloud services.
• Engineer agentic systems and complex workflows using advanced prompt engineering techniques.
• Under take team's projects, ensuring high-quality delivery and translating client business needs into clear technical roadmaps.
• Partner with business domains to explore and shape exciting new opportunities.
• Embed AI solutions and techniques in existing systems to innovate output and enhance performance
• Implement secure source code practices through Sec-Dev-Ops, Analyze and Fix Security vulnerabilities
• Any other Task assigned by the supervisor.

Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following:

• Develop Hybrid Cloud Architecture and Design and Deploy scalable, highly available, fault tolerant and secure setup on Domestic and International Cloud Service Providers (CSPs)
• Embedding Best Architectural Practices
• Develop solutions architecture and evaluate architectural alternatives for private, public and hybrid cloud models - including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS and other cloud services
• Plan and Implement migration of existing systems, applications and services to CSP
• Configure, optimize and monitor cloud operations and compute resources
• Identify, design , integrate and monitor cloud services
• Procurement, Contracting, Budgeting, Metering and Managing Cost controls
• Contribute to DevOps development activities and complex development tasks
• Any other Task assigned by the supervisor
