State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the Central Bank, is looking for talented and energetic candidates for the following OG-3 positions in Cyber Security Department (CySD), based in Karachi.

Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following:

• Ensuring 24/7 monitoring coverage of cyber operations for timely detection, analysis, and response activities.
• Validate, prioritize, and escalate Cyber operations cases as required.
• Perform advanced threat analysis and guide threat hunting efforts.
• Manage and optimize Cyber operations & response tools such as SIEM, SOAR, TIP, etc.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, playbooks, and investigation reports.
• Respond to cyber operation cases & incidents promptly, following established incident response procedures, to reduce and mitigate the impact of security threats.
• Ensure compliance with organization security policies and frameworks.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement in Cyber operations & response processes and capabilities.
• Create and maintain regular operational reports for management.
• Perform any other relevant tasks assigned by the management.

Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following:

• Administer, maintain, optimize and ensure 24x7 cyber operations tools availability such as SIEM, SOAR, TIP, FIM etc.
• Integrate cyber operations tools with organization security controls and support automation initiatives.
• Develop custom dashboards, reports, and visualizations within the platform to provide stakeholders with insights into security events, trends, and metrics.
• Respond to cyber operation cases & incidents promptly, following established incident response procedures, to reduce and mitigate the impact of security threats.
• Drive continuous improvement in Cyber operations & response processes and capabilities.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, playbooks, automated workflows, and regular operational reports for management, audit and compliance.
• Develop and tune detection rules and use cases.
• Ensure compliance with organization security policies and frameworks.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Perform any other relevant tasks assigned by the management.
