State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the Central Bank, is looking for talented and energetic candidates for the Permanent position in Digital innovations & Settlements Department (DI&SD), based in Karachi.

Deputy Director (OG-3) - Settlements Division |
Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following:
- Understand and manage accounting entries in the new RTGS system, ensuring successful integration with T24, Oracle, and Central Securities Depository (CSD) platforms.
- Apply SWIFT (MT) and ISO 20022 (MX) standards for high-value payments and settlements.
- Implement settlement models (DVP, DVF, PVP) per system protocols.
- Support STP flows and settlement procedures.
- Contribute to PRISM+ system enhancements as required.
- Monitor performance, logs, and alerts to ensure resolution within SLAs.
- Manage incidents, triaging, and escalation workflows.
- Oversee operations including auctions, maturities, and OMOs.
- Test new functionalities and train new participants.
- Administer participant access, rights, and instrument configurations in RTGS.
- Resolve operational issues and respond to queries from banks and stakeholders (NIFT, NCCPL, 1-Link).
- Draft and update operating rules, policies, and user manuals.
- Conduct due diligence for onboarding PRISM participants.
- Support audit, compliance, and risk management requirements.
- Assist in special projects.

Bachelors or Master’s Degree (16 years of education) in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, or a related discipline from reputable HEC recognized domestic or foreign university. |
| Age |
Maximum 40 years, as on the date of advertisement. |
| Experience |
Minimum 8 years of experience in RTGS operations, core banking systems, or payment infrastructure.
Following skills and experience will be given weightage during assessment:
Clear understanding of SWIFT, ISO 20022, and high-value payment ecosystems.
Familiarity with T24, Oracle Financials, and PRISM systems is an advantage.
Hands-on experience with incident management tools.
Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to meet critical deadlines |
