State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the Central Bank, is looking for experienced IT professionals for following contractual positions in Information Technology Operations Department (ITOD) and IT Programs & Project Management Department (ITP&PMD). The positions are based in Karachi (unless stated otherwise).

Systems Administrator

Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following: Manage security system operations of Applications and Servers on Windows and Linux Servers Hosting arrangements. Perform administration and monitoring of Microsoft Windows / Linux based Servers, Operating systems and associated services, which include Active Directory, Email Servers, File Storage, SQL Servers, DHCP and DNS. Monitor and manage internet proxy appliances, email security gateway, associated services and user access management. Provide level-1 technical support to end-users and responsible to support escalated incidents and requests registered in IT Service Desk and ensure timely resolution and/or management escalation. Coordinate with OEMs, SLA vendors for the resolution of technical issues and project implementations. Prepare draft documents for approval of daily checklists, SOPs, configuration details, incident reports, change requests, etc. Respond and resolve requests from IT Teams pertaining to Windows Servers and associated service. Provide support and perform issue resolution of all relevant components of systems hosted at all SBP managed Data centers (Primary and DR) countrywide and Windows servers at SBP managed subsidiaries. Participate in DR, BCP and Cyber Recovery drills of servers and applications. Prepare draft documents for approval in establishing and implementing standards, policies, procedures and practices as per organizational and operational need and ensure maintenance and record keeping of approved versions of all such documents. Prepare and maintain documentation related to operations manual, technical Installation and configuration documents, disaster recovery procedures and risk register and provide feedback on policies related to Windows based systems. Undertake and complete any other technology/IT systems related task(s) assigned by the supervisor.

Database Administrator

Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following: Perform Production & Development Database Administration (DBA). Perform LINUX and Windows operating system related task for Database Administration. Monitor and analyze database system performance (e.g., stress volume), perform database systems testing, performance tuning. Perform disaster recovery periodic drills for mock testing and live operations of databases and applications. Assist the Unit/Divisional Heads in reviewing the existing applications and share/suggest refinements and improvements to ensure that the most efficient methods are employed. Assist in various departmental projects’ information gathering, project implementation and post implementation support. Undertake and complete any other technology/IT systems related tasks assigned by the superior.

Senior Applications Developer / Senior Software Engineer

Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following: Develop enterprise level, web enabled software applications to automate business processes, operations and workflows utilizing Web Applications Framework / languages. Engage in all project phases during the full software development cycle, including design, coding, testing, post-install configuration & performance tuning and post-install issue resolution. Responsible for the collection and analysis of business requirements and the translation of these requirements into a comprehensive and cohesive solution proposal. Develop MIS including fixed reports for publication and dynamic MIS for analytical end-users. Coordinate with DBA and System Administration teams for the development and deployment of new applications in live/production environment. Analyze, discuss and remediate the vulnerabilities identified by IT Security Team Responsible to implement secure source code practices in relevant SDLC Phases.

 Eligibility Criteria:

Education:	Master's or Bachelor's Degree (with a minimum of 16 years of education) in IT, Computer Science/Systems/Computer Engineering/Software/AI/MIS/Data Sciences from an HEC recognized university or a reputable foreign university. Candidates with relevant certifications in Oracle / Java /Dot Net/ DLT etc with strong secure application development experience will be preferred.

Experience:	Minimum 3 years of relevant experience of application software development in any of the following: Oracle Apex/Java/DotNet/PHP/DLT Applications/Python/Apache/ Spark/Apache Kafka/Big Data, Artificial Intelligence enabled Application development/Application Programing Interfacing/. SQL or NoSQL/OLTP/OLAP Databases like Oracle/DB2/SQL Server/ MySQL / PostgreSQL/Mongo etc. Preference will be given to candidates with add-on experience of API Gateways and Enterprise S processors/gateways/related standards and protocols e.g. ISCO20022/O-Auth/OpenID Connect/JWT and Core Banking implementation/development.

Enterprise IT Architect

Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following: Develop & maintain overall Enterprise Technology Blue-Print. Design and develop process maps of all of Enterprise processes and their high-level interfaces. Develop Architecture and Design to meet all the current and anticipated future IT requirements of the organization. Develop and review up to date all IT design, processes, policy and specification documentation for efficiency, effectiveness and compliance. Translate logical designs into physical designs, taking account of business requirements, target environments, processes, performance requirements, existing systems & services and any potential safety-related aspects. Provide advice to management on the design and planning phases of IT systems, to ensure that requirements (particularly capacity, recovery, performance and security needs) are reflected in the overall specifications. Interfacing with internal and external stakeholder, partners, suppliers and service providers to ensure IT systems and services are designed to meet the agreed service levels and targets. Planning and executing the projects in different domains of development. Liaison with business departments to assess their business needs and identify value delivery for the organization. Liaison with business and technical teams to identify technically viable solution that meets business requirements. Estimate time, efforts and budget required for outsourcing arrangements of the projects Maintain & track project plans of all projects including Project tasks, milestone dates and status

 Eligibility Criteria:

Education:	Master's or Bachelor's degree (with a minimum of 16 years of education) in Computer Science / Software Engineering / Information Systems / Computer Systems / Computer Engineering / Telecom Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Electronics Engineering from HEC recognized domestic or from a reputable foreign university. Certifications in TOGAF or relevant standards/Cloud Solution Architect will be preferred.

Network Security Engineer

Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following: Work closely with information security team to evaluate, test, and troubleshoot technologies and expected to identify, diagnose, and resolve network security issues. Set and maintain protocols and processes and maintain comprehensive documentation related to network and security infrastructure. Test and check system for weaknesses in software configurations and hardware. Configure, manage and monitor Site to Site and Remote Access VPN. Defining and maintaining security policies. Administer authentication, authorization and accounting servers. Upgrade Operating Systems of Network devices for vulnerability compliances. Implement wireless LAN security controls. Manage and monitor Network Intrusion Preventions Systems. Implement best practices related to network security controls. SLA monitoring and compliances related to Network Security Devices.

 Eligibility Criteria:

Education:	Master's or Bachelor's degree (with a minimum of 16 years of education) in Computer Science / Software Engineering / Information Systems / Computer Systems / Computer Engineering / Telecom Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Electronics Engineering from HEC recognized domestic or from a reputable foreign university. IT Support Engineer

Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following: Testing, configuration, installation and repair of IT related equipment (i.e. computer workstations, desktops, laptops, multifunction printer and mobile/portable devices etc.) along with support for enterprise applications/ software in coordination with other IT teams. Provide technical support across a wide range of technology platforms (Windows, MacOS. iOS and Android). Work with other IT teams to perform upgrades and migrations of IT related equipment. Support end point security standards (Antivirus/firewall/patching etc.) Provide onsite and remote support to all IT users including executives. Provide support for special events, webinars and associated technology needs. Identify, resolve and escalate issues where appropriate to IT Management or other IT teams to ensure issues are resolved with a sense of urgency. Ensure compliance of Policies/SOPs against vulnerabilities in coordination with other teams and facilitate related audit observations. Provide support for specialized applications such as SWIFT, Bloomberg and related areas. Serve as IT Support resource for BCP Mock Exercises and oversee / perform updates on EUIT equipment at BCP sites. Collaborating with other IT team members, such as network administrators, system administrators, and cybersecurity professionals to address technical issues. Provide after hours and on-call support. Keep abreast of emerging technologies and trends in IT industry to provide proactive recommendations to IT Management. Develop and maintain support documentation. Ensure all issues are properly logged.

Application Support Engineer (Payment Systems Technologies)

Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following: Perform System Administration, configuration and updates of Payment Systems (RTGS and SWIFT). Monitor Payment Systems (RTGS & SWIFT) and troubleshoot problems in Applications, Databases and other related system components. Perform system Backup and Archiving. Provide technical assistance to end users. Develop policies/procedures/SOPs and necessary documentation. Coordinate with Audit and IT security Teams to achieve necessary compliance. Coordinate with OEM/vendors and other stakeholders in operations and projects.

Experience:	Minimum 3 years of relevant experience on Enterprise level software solutions preferably related to Payment Systems (SWIFT and RTGS). Sound knowledge of software architecture, programming languages (e.g. C-Sharp/C++/Java), Desktop/Web based applications and databases (e.g. Oracle/SQL Server & MS-Access). Knowledge of operating systems (Windows server and Linux) Knowledge of Payment Messages / SWIFT messages and standards. Knowledge of IT security, cryptography and digital certificates. Experience of working on Instant Payment System (IPS), Automated Transfer System (ATS), Credit/Debit card systems and related payment technologies etc. will be an added advantage. Preference will be given to candidates currently working in Banks/FIs/Fintech or Payment System Institutions.

Monitor temperature of UPS rooms and data centers and readiness status of related fire detection and suppression systems. Manage access control of data center and associated locations as per procedures. Maintain and manage visitor’s / vendors logs. Monitoring of Internet links bandwidth utilization, and inform concern team or vendor for any unusual chocks or downtime in Internet services. Perform shift duty according to duty roaster at data center facility for 24x7 operations. Perform duties at any SBP datacenter facility. Perform any other work assigned by the supervisor.
