State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the Central Bank, is looking for talented and energetic candidates for the following positions in the External Relations Department, based at Karachi.

 

Deputy Director - Social Media Expert

Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following:
Design and produce images, infographics, animations, motion graphics, videos, etc. on different softwares.
Develop, implement and manage SBP social media strategy, to consistently increase SBP audience.
Content planning, preparation and implementation in coordination with relevant internal and external stakeholders for social media platforms.
Identify and produce new contents of readers' interests that are user friendly.
Work with copywriters and other designers to ensure content is informative and appealing.
Define and measure important social media KPIs for general posts and media campaigns.
Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization.
Stay up to date with latest trends and best practices on social media.
Develop other team members on social media management.
Monitor social media posts related to SBP.
Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network.
Manage all technical matters pertaining to official social media pages and prepare reports as required by management.
Compiling official documents and record keeping.
   

 Eligibility Criteria:


Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (with a minimum of 16 years of education) in Mass Communications, Computer Graphics and Multimedia/ Visual Arts, Marketing from HEC recognized domestic or reputable foreign university.

Age: Maximum 35 years, as on the last date to submit application.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role.
Skills:
  • In depth knowledge of social media marketing tools, payment methods and relevant information
  • Should have strong social media presence and be able to demonstrate results
  • Active web profile of related contents or having proof of work in a portable hard drive or USB drive
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+, Hootsuite and other social media platforms
  • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics

Deputy Director - Web Developer

Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following:
Creating websites using standard HTML/CSS practices and multiple CMS and MVC frameworks, such as Drupal or SharePoint.
Provide Support of Web Management (such as server configuration), Web Infrastructure and Website Security and Performance.
Manage Content Development and Publishing process, on site or via VPN access, in timely manner.
Manage website performance through monitoring of traffic and trends, visitors’ behavior and making strategies to enhance outreach of the website and user experience.
Perform QA Operations for web development and content posting.
Perform day-to-day web content update (web operations) at both Internal and External SBP websites.
Working closely with web designers and programmers to produce the website.
Constant communication with other colleagues in the business to develop and deploy their content - and ensuring there is a clear establishment of what can be created within timeframe.
Researching different software programs, maintaining software documentation.
Implementing contingency plans in case the website goes down.
Perform miscellaneous task assigned by the management.
   

 Eligibility Criteria:


Education:

Bachelor’s Degree (with a minimum of 16 years of education) in Computer Science/Information Technology/Media from HEC recognized domestic or reputable foreign university.


Age: Maximum 35 years, as on the last date to submit application.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.
Skills:
  • Experience in SharePoint and .Net development is a mandatory.
  • Proficiency with server side languages such as Java, PHP and .Net.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React and Node JS
  • Familiarity with other frameworks such as CMS, MVC, Bootstrap, etc.
  • Proven Custom module development of SharePoint, administration as well.
  • Familiarity of Database Stored Procedures, View and complex queries
  • Understands Integration concepts (RESTful services, API development, etc.)
  • Familiarity of Android, iOS and hybrid platform 
  • Understands the basics of web accessibility standards
  • Knows how to apply accessibility web standards into their job role
  • Having experience or certification(s) in web accessibility is a big plus.

Translator (On Contract)

Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following:
To translate assigned sections of SBP reports: Annual, Quarterly, Monetary Policy Statements, and Financial Stability Review, in addition to other content if required.
To proofread the translated text for removing errors.
To format the finalized Urdu version.
To translate assigned contents of SBP website for uploading on the Urdu version of the website.
To coordinate with the web team designing the Urdu version of web pages.
   

 Eligibility Criteria:


Education

Master’s Degree (with a minimum of 16 years of education) in Mass Communications, English, Urdu, Economics, Development Economics, Business,Finance, Translation Studies from HEC recognized domestic or reputable foreign university.


Age: Maximum 35 years, as on the last date to submit application.

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of post-qualification relevant working experience.

Multi Media Designer (On Contract)

Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following:
Carry out photographic/video coverage of all indoor and outdoor events of SBP as and when needed.
Production and post production of videos and documentaries using relevant material as per given script.
Conceptualize and develop illustrations, Infographics, logos, stationery items using appropriate software for print, social and digital media.
Create and design various materials for print and digital collaterals, in accordance with the printing and digital parameters and coordinate with the publication desk of the Bank for its publication etc.
Design high quality graphic content for social media to promote State Bank’s initiatives.
Preparation of whiteboard and animations and animated presentations for departmental meetings, events and social media.
Processing, editing and maintenance of record and archiving of Photographs and videos of all events of SBP.
Prepare SBP internal magazine, monthly selections of content, pictures and composition of English & Urdu pages at first stage and help edit them at a later stage.
Image processing/color correction of all content using specialized software for print material like magazine, brochures, banners and other promotional items etc.
Creation of interactive digital flip versions of magazine and broadcast on internal website.
Perform any other assignment, which may be assigned by senior management from time to time.
   

 Eligibility Criteria:


Education

Master’s Degree (with a minimum of 16 years of education) in Mass Communication, Computer Graphics and Multimedia/ Visual Arts, Marketing.


Age: Maximum 35 years, as on the last date to submit application.

Experience:

Minimum 3 years of experience in professional graphic designing/video editing.


 
  • Proven expertise of non-linear video and audio editing using editing software programs
  • Experience of magazine designing within Adobe Creative Cloud tools (Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Quark Xpress, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects and Adobe Audition etc.
  • Proven expertise of defining themes and concept for photography and graphic design.
  • Proficient in designing marketing material i.e. Banner, Brochures, social media posts etc
  • Proven expertise of creating whiteboard and 2D animation for presentations and videos.
  • Proven skills of Microsoft Power Point (Excel, charts, presentation)
