State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the Central Bank, is looking for talented and energetic candidates for the following positions in the Information Technology Department, based at Karachi.

 

Deputy Director - Network Security Engineer

Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following:
Prepare and present comprehensive Network Security devices reports including findings, outcomes, and propositions for further network security enhancement.
Responsible to install and upgrade Operating Systems and patches of network security devices and software for vulnerability compliance.
Responsible for configuring and managing Site to Site and Remote Access VPN (SSL+IPSEC).
Responsible for managing and configuring Network Admission Control (NAC), MFA and AAA Servers.
Responsible for configuring and monitoring Network Security devices i.e. Next Generation Firewall (NGFW) and Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS).
Manage, monitor and implement DMVPN based Wide Area Network (WAN).
Implement best practices related to network security controls on Routers and Switches.
Responsible to implement and enforce network security controls on Wireless LAN Infrastructure.
Coordinate with OEMs, SLA vendors for the resolution of technical issues.
Assist in developing and implementing SOPs and practices as per organizational requirements in Network Security area
Assist Unit/Divisional Head in periodic reviewing of Network Security controls and policies
Perform routine actions and exception handling as per IT Security recommendations.
Undertake and complete any other technology/IT systems related task/s assigned by the supervisor SLA monitoring and compliances related to Network Security Devices
   

 Eligibility Criteria:


Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (with a minimum of 16 years of education) in Computer Science / Telecom Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Electronics Engineering from HEC recognized domestic or reputable foreign university. Candidates with CCNA and CCNP Security Certifications will be preferred.


Age: Maximum 40 years, as on the last date to submit application.

Experience:

Minimum 05 years of work experience in Network Security Operations. Candidates having hands on experience of configuration and management of enterprise firewalls and gateway devices, administration and management of Cisco Network Admission Control (NAC) and hands on experience on Cisco Firepower Next Generation Firewalls will be preferred.

Deputy Director - System Administrator (Windows)

Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following:
Provide support and perform issue resolution of all relevant components of systems hosted at all SBP managed Data centers (Primary and DR) and countrywide and Windows servers at SBP managed subsidiaries.
Perform administration and monitoring of Microsoft Windows Server based Operating systems and associated services, which include Active Directory, Email Servers, File Storage, SQL Servers, DHCP and DNS.
Maintain and support data backup and recovery operations of systems hosted on Windows servers using DELLEMC Networker or similar enterprise backup software.
Manage security system operations of Applications and Servers on Windows Servers Hosting arrangements.
Monitor and manage internet proxy appliances, email security gateway, associated services, and user access management.
Responsible to support escalated incidents and requests registered in IT Service Desk and ensure timely resolution and/or management escalation.
Coordinate with OEMs, SLA vendors for the resolution of technical issues and project implementations.
Prepare draft documents for approval daily checklists, SOPs, configuration details, incident reports, change requests, etc.
Respond and resolve requests from IT Teams pertaining to Windows Servers and associated service.
Participate in DR, BCP and Cyber Recovery drills of servers and applications.
Prepare draft documents for approval in establishing and implementing standards, policies, procedures and practices as per organizational and operational need and ensure maintenance and record keeping of approved versions of all such documents.
Prepare and maintain documentation related to operations manual, SOPs, technical Installation and configuration documents, disaster recovery procedures and risk register and provide feedback on policies related to Windows based systems.
Undertake and complete any other technology/IT systems related task/s assigned by the superior.
   

 Eligibility Criteria:


Education

Bachelor’s Degree (with a minimum of 16 years of education) in IT, Computer Science/Systems, Electrical / Electronics / Telecommunication or related area from HEC recognized domestic or reputable foreign university.


Age: Maximum 40 years, as on the last date to submit application.

Experience:

Minimum 4 years of post-qualification in-depth experience of administration and support on Microsoft Windows operating system based servers in enterprise Active Directory Domain setup.
Microsoft Windows Servers and related infrastructure Applications skills along with Knowledge of Microsoft CA, Email Security Gateway, Endpoint Security and Patch Management Systems will be preferred.
