State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the Central Bank, is looking for talented and energetic candidates for the following position in the Human Resources Department, based at Karachi.

 

Assistant Director - Human Resource (OG-2)

Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following:
Active involvement in recruitment by developing job descriptions and person specifications, preparing job advertisements, checking application forms and shortlisting.
Schedule/Coordinate interviews and testing of shortlisted applicants and support in the issuance of joining letters to final candidates, under the supervision of the competent authority.
Prepare and conduct orientation plan of new employees and training plan of existing employees.
Work closely with various departments, increasingly in a consultancy role, assisting line managers to understand and implement policies and procedures.
Promote equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organization.
Implement HR procedures and provide counselling on HR policies/Implement policies on issues like working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures and absence management.
Assist the management in developing HR planning strategies, keeping in view the immediate and long-term requirements of the Bank.
Analyze training needs in conjunction with departmental managers.
Develop a plan for workforce diversity during recruitment drives and undertake initiatives for increasing women participation and outreach as per approvals of the management.
Ensuring meticulous implementation of payroll and benefits administration.
Communicating with staff about issues affecting their performance.
Ensuring accurate and proper record-keeping of employee information in electronic and digital format.
Work effectively and constructively both independently and as part of a team, be attentive and engaged with laboratory activities.
   

 Eligibility Criteria:


Education

Masters or Bachelor’s Degree (16 years) of education in Human Resources or other HR related disciplines from HEC recognized domestic or reputable foreign university. Preference will be given to candidates possessing HR related certifications.


Age: Maximum 30 years, as per CNIC. Relaxation maybe allowed in case of additional relevant experience.

Experience:

Minimum 3 years of relevant and demonstrated experience in HR.


Competencies:

Interpersonal skills to form effective working relationships with people at all levels
IT and numeracy skills, with strong IT skills required if managing/operating computerized payroll and benefits systems.

Team working skills and the ability to collaborate well with others
Ability to compile and interpret statistical data and communicate it in a professional and understandable manner.

Influencing and negotiating skills to implement personnel policies
Ability to juggle multiple tasks and to prioritize your workload.

Ability work under pressure.
