State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the Central Bank, is looking for talented and energetic candidates for the following position in the Office of Chief Information Security Officer, based at Karachi.

Assistant Director - Security Operations Centre (OG-2)

Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following:
	Monitor security controls on a daily basis, and prepare Cyber Activity Reports for senior management.
	Deploy, operate and maintain security incident monitoring & log solution using standard SIEM technology and integrate it with existing IT infrastructure.
	Monitor user activities, review logs, report breaches and exceptions on a regular basis.
	Monitor networks, systems and applications, for events and traffic indicators that signal intrusion and take necessary actions.
	Monitor real-time interfaces of critical security controls (firewall, IDS/IPS, antivirus, Spam server, proxy server etc.).
	Coordinate and collaborate with IT operations on security monitoring issues and activities.
	Perform Software Vulnerabilities Assessment (SVA) operations as per defined process, generate reports and follow up IT teams on identified vulnerabilities fixation.
	Operate and maintain Vulnerability Management solutions and apply necessary vendor updates through IT.
	Develop customized reports on SVA operations for IT teams and relevant stakeholders.
	Review and investigate reported IT incidents and escalate to relevant IT operations team for actions.
	Disseminate IT Security alerts and advisories to IT operation teams after analysis.
	Undertake and complete other tasks and assignments as assigned by the divisional head.

 Eligibility Criteria:

Education	Masters or Bachelor’s Degree (16 years) of education in Information Security, IT, Computer Science, Engineering or other related disciplines from HEC recognized domestic or reputable foreign university. Cyber Security and SOC related Certifications like Certified SOC Analyst, CISSP, CHFI, CEH etc. would be preferred.
Age:	Maximum 30 years, as per CNIC. Relaxation maybe allowed in case of additional relevant experience.
Experience:	Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
