Statutory Liquidity and Cash Reserve Requirement

Please refer to BSD Circular No. 03 of 2006 dated February 15, 2006, on the captioned subject.

It is advised that “WAPDA Sukuk” mentioned in the said Circular also includes 2nd issue of WAPDA Sukuk as notified by the Government vide Notification dated July 12, 2007 and investment in either or both of these issues of WAPDA Sukuk is restricted to 5% of TDL on cumulative basis.

All other instructions on the subject shall, however, remain unchanged.
