refer to para 7 of BSD Circular No.11 dated 17th
March, 2001 wherein the banks were allowed to open booth(s)
for collection of cash or for making spot payments on account
of the activities as stipulated in para 7(i) of the aforesaid
circular.
2.
It has now been decided to amend the para 7(i) of BSD
Circular No. 11 dated 17th March, 2001 as under:
-
“7(i)
Receiving utility bills, Government dues/revenue/cash, collection
of fee/dues of educational institutions, receiving cash from
patients of hospitals, visa fee or other related cash receipt
functions on the recommendations
of the concerned Government Departments / institutions.”
