In terms of powers conferred under section 10(4) of the State Bank of Pakistan Act, 1956 (as amended), the Federal Government has appointed Mr. Saeed Ahmad as Deputy Governor, State Bank of Pakistan for a period of three years from the date of assumption of office i.e. January 21, 2014, vide Notification No. 3(6) Bkg-1/2013 dated January 20, 2014.

2. Mr. Saeed Ahmad has been assigned the duties of Deputy Governor (Islamic Banking, Financial Markets & Special Initiatives).
