In terms of Finance Division Notification No.3(4)Bkg-1/2011-17 dated January 31, 2014 the Federal Government vide Section 15(3)(a) of the State Bank of Pakistan Act, 1956 (XXXIII of 1956) has accepted the resignation of Mr. Yaseen Anwar, Governor SBP who has resigned from his office.

2. Further, Mr. Ashraf Mahmood Wathra, Deputy Governor, SBP has been appointed as Acting Governor, in terms of Section 10 (3A) of the SBP Act, 1956.
