In terms of Federal Government’s notification No. 3(4) Bkg-1/2013 dated March 5, 2013 under the powers conferred vide Section 10(4) of the State Bank of Pakistan Act 1956 (as amended) Mr. Ashraf Mahmood Wathra has been appointed as Deputy Governor, State Bank of Pakistan for a period of three years from the date he assumes office. Mr. Ashraf Mahmood Wathra has assumed the office with effect from March 11, 2013. He has taken over the charge of the office of Deputy Governor (Banking) on March 15, 2013. Effective the same date Kazi Abdul Muktadir has assumed the charge of Deputy Governor (Operations).
