State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the Central Bank, is looking for talented and energetic candidates for the following OG-3 positions in Information Technology Operations Department (ITOD), based in Karachi.

Senior Network Security Engineer (OG-3)

Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following: Perform planning, engineering, and monitoring of the security arrangements for the protection of the network systems. Implement policies for allocating administrative tasks; keeping on top of audit logs to flag suspicious activity; and devising network password procedures. Configure, manage and monitor Site to Site and Remote Access VPN. Define and maintain security policies. Administer Authentication, Authorization and Accounting Servers. Upgrade Operating Systems of Network devices for vulnerability compliances. Implement Wireless LAN security Controls. Manage and monitor Network Intrusion Preventions Systems. Work closely with information security team to evaluate, test, and troubleshoot technologies and identify, diagnose, and resolve network security issues. Collate, prepare and present comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes, and propositions for further network security enhancement. Set and maintain protocols and processes and maintain comprehensive documentation related to network and security infrastructure. Test and check system for weaknesses in software configurations and hardware. Research and implement latest technologies and processes that improve the overall security of the system. Implement best practices related to network security controls. Work on SLA monitoring and compliances related to Network Security Devices.

 Eligibility Criteria:

Education:	Minimum 16 years of education in Computer Science / Telecom Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Electronics Engineering from HEC recognized domestic or reputable foreign institutions. Must have CCNA and CCNP Security Certification.
Age:	Maximum 35 years, as on the date of advertisement. Relaxation may be allowed in case of additional qualification and/or experience.
Experience:	At least five (5) years post qualification experience in overseeing operations of Networks Security. Preference will be given to candidates having hands on experience of configuration and management of enterprise firewalls and gateway devices, administration and management of Cisco Network Admission Control (NAC) and hands on experience on Cisco Firepower Next Generation Firewalls.

Executive Support Engineer (OG-3)

Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following: Perform testing, configuration, installation and repair of IT related equipment used by the executives in coordination with other IT teams. Provide technical support across a wide range of technology platforms (Windows, MacOS. iOS and Android). Work with other IT teams to perform upgrades and migrations of IT related equipment used by the executives. Support end point security standards (Antivirus/firewall/patching etc.) Provide onsite and remote support to all IT users including executives. Provide support for special events, Webinars and associated technology needs. Identify, resolve and escalate issues where appropriate to IT Management or other IT teams to ensure issues are resolved with a sense of urgency. Provide after hours and on-call support for executives. Keep abreast of emerging technologies and trends in the IT industry to provide proactive recommendations to IT Management. Develop and maintain executive support documentation. Ensure all issues are properly logged.

 Eligibility Criteria:

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to translate complex technology concepts into simple terms. Good understating of client based operating systems and networking technologies.
