State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) is looking for an adept IT Professional to head the IT Program & Project Management Department as Director. The position will steer the automation and digitalization drive at the SBP, and implement new IT systems, applications, and policies. The senior level position is based in Karachi.

Director (OG-7) - IT Program & Project Management Department

Director - ITP&PMD will be reporting to the Chief Technology Officer and will be responsible to:

Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with the overall business objectives and strategic plan to drive technological innovation and competitiveness. Oversee the design and implementation of robust, reliable, scalable and secure National Portals, Industry Platforms and Enterprise IT Applications on latest technology infrastructure. Establish and implement technology governance frameworks, policies and standards to ensure compliance and mitigate risks. Lead initiatives for Digital Transformation, leveraging emerging technologies to enhance business processes, customer experiences and overall operational efficiency. Establish Data Governance practices, ensuring the integrity, confidentiality and availability of critical data assets across the organization. Stay abreast of technological trends, conduct research and assess emerging technologies for their potential impact to achieve organization's objectives. Develop and steer professional teams in the areas of IT strategy, IT Governance, IT Programs, Projects and Application development and related domains as needed to achieve business objectives of the function. Foster collaboration between IT and other business units, ensuring effective communication and understanding of technology-related needs and opportunities. Proactively and holistically lead and guide the enterprise through transformation and optimization initiatives, supporting the overall corporate strategy. Capacity Building in various areas of IT Group and across the organization about IT enabled developments and operations in respective applicable domains. Perform any other tasks assigned by the executive management.

 Eligibility Criteria:

Education:	Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (with a minimum of 16 years of education) in IT, Computer Systems or Sciences, relevant Engineering areas from a HEC recognized domestic or a foreign university.
Age:	Maximum 50 years, as on the date of advertisement. Age relaxation may be allowed in case of outstanding experience and achievements at national and international level.
Experience:	At least 15 years of experience in IT including at least 5 years in senior management position in a similar role.
