State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the Central Bank, is looking for talented and energetic candidates for the following contractual positions in the Information Technology & Operations Department, based at Karachi.

Application Support Engineer (Payment Systems Technologies)

Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following: Perform System Administration, configuration and updates of Payment Systems (RTGS and SWIFT). Monitor Payment Systems (RTGS & SWIFT) and troubleshoot problems in Applications, Databases and other related system components. Perform system Backup and Archiving. Provide technical assistance to end users. Develop policies/procedures/SOPs and necessary documentation. Coordinate with Audit and IT security Teams to achieve necessary compliance. Coordinate with OEM/vendors and other stakeholders in operations and projects.

 Eligibility Criteria:

Education:	Minimum 16 years of education in IT, Computer Science/Systems, or Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent qualification from an HEC recognized university or a reputable foreign university.
Age:	Maximum 35 years as on last date of application submission.
Experience:	Minimum 3 years of relevant experience on Enterprise level software solutions specially related to Payment Systems (SWIFT and RTGS). Preference will be given to candidates currently working in Banks/FIs/Fintech or Payment System Institutions. Experience of working on Instant Payment System (IPS), Automated Transfer System (ATS), Credit/Debit card systems and related payment technologies etc. will be added advantage. Sound knowledge of software architecture, programming languages (e.g. C-Sharp/C++/Java), Desktop/Web based applications and databases (e.g. Oracle/SQL Server & MS-Access). Knowledge of operating systems (Windows server and Linux). Knowledge of Payment Messages / SWIFT messages and standards. Knowledge of IT security, cryptography and digital certificates.

Application Support Engineer

Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following: Provide level-1/level-2 Functional and Technical Support. Monitor and ensure smooth running of Business Applications in production environment. Coordinate with relevant team(s) for timely resolution of issues and deployment of new functionalities and applications. Coordinate with Development team for the deployment of the resolution as per SOP. Coordinate with relevant teams for the deployment of new module keeping in view the areas/items involved in the deployment. Ensure the deployment of new modules/applications on production environment. Verify the status of applications in live environment after system configuration changes, e.g. patches, upgrades and security implementations. Communicate outages and critical issues to management.

 Eligibility Criteria:

Education:	Minimum 16 years of education in IT, Computer Science/Systems, Computer Engineering or equivalent qualification from an HEC recognized university or a reputable foreign university.
Age:	Maximum 35 years as on last date of application submission.
Experience:	Minimum 3 years relevant experience of providing Enterprise Applications Support specially related to Oracle/Dot Net/Java/PHP Frameworks environments. Good scripting skills in languages like SQL, PL/SQL, and Shell. Strong understanding of databases. Experience of working in both Linux and Windows OS environments. Excellent Customer Service Skills. Good interpersonal communication skills. Willing to work in a challenging environment.

Network and UPS Technicians

Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following: Install UPS power and Network Points. Resolve day to day UPS power and Network Infrastructure complaints. Cabling, dressing, tagging and rack cables harnessing of Communication Rooms and Datacenter. Testing of SBP Campus Fiber optics and UTP cables. Troubleshooting and repairing of UPS power distribution infrastructure. Perform preventive maintenance and labeling, tagging of UPS power DBs and circuit breakers. Perform scheduled physical layer maintenance tasks as and when required.

 Eligibility Criteria:

Education:	DAE/Certificate in Electrical / Electronic / IT Systems from a recognized Technology College/ Institute.
Age:	Maximum 50 years as on last date of application submission.
Experience:	Minimum 15 years as Network/UPS Technician in Medium Size to Enterprise Organization.

IT Support Technician

Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following: Installing new hardware (Server printers, computer workstations, multifunction devices etc.). Providing technical support and troubleshooting for computer hardware and software issues. Keeping records of IT maintenance activities, troubleshooting steps, and solutions provided. Providing remote technical assistance to users. Collaborating with other IT team members, such as network administrators, system administrators, and cybersecurity professionals, to address technical issues. Assisting with various IT-related tasks and projects as needed. Provide support for high-level meetings (virtual and physical).

 Eligibility Criteria:

Education:	Bachelor’s degree (14 years of education) in any discipline from HEC recognized Technology College/ Institute.
Age:	Maximum 40 years as on last date of application submission.
Experience:	Minimum 2years work experience in a similar role.
