Roshan Digital Account (RDA) is a major initiative of State Bank of Pakistan, in collaboration with commercial banks operating in Pakistan. These accounts provide innovative banking solutions for millions of Non Resident Pakistanis (NRPs), including Non-Resident Pakistan Origin Card (POC) holders, seeking to undertake banking, payment and investment activities in Pakistan. Further, all non-resident natural (foreign nationals) and juridical persons falling within the definition under the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001 are also eligible to open and avail banking, payment and investment activities with RDA banks in Pakistan.
Naya Pakistan Certificates (NPCs) are USD, PKR, Euro, SAR, AED and GBP-denominated instruments issued by the Government of Pakistan. NPCs offer attractive risk-adjusted returns over different maturities. They are available in both conventional and Shariah compliant versions and are administered by the State Bank of Pakistan.

For Islamic Naya Pakistan Certificates, actual profit rates will be calculated in line with the Islamic principle of Mudarabah, based on the actual financials of the month.
Roshan Digital Account holders may incur charges on the various products and services offered by banks like: debit cards, cheque book, etc. These charges vary from bank to bank. For customers’ convenience, the links of banks leading to their schedule of charges* are placed below:
The charges will be applied by the sending bank from abroad as per their schedule of charges. Banks have made special arrangements with most of their correspondent banks Citi Bank, Deutsche Bank, JP Morgan and Standard Chartered Bank) to bring down transfer charges in the range of $5 - $9 by using special Bank Identification Code (BIC) provided by their RDA bank. Moreover, the bank may recover charges on inward remittances received into PKR RDA through International Money Transfer Operators / Exchange Companies as per their schedule of charges. For specific information on transfer charges, customers may contact their RDA bank.
