Governor of the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), Mr. Jameel Ahmad, officially inaugurated Pakistan’s Real-Time Interbank Settlement Mechanism Plus (PRISM+) system, a major advancement in the modernization of the country’s financial market infrastructure.
The launch event, held at the National Institute of Banking and Finance (NIBAF Pakistan) in Karachi, brought together a wide range of participants, including chief executives of banks, representatives from microfinance institutions, payment system operators (PSOs), payment service providers (PSPs), senior SBP officials, and other stakeholders from across the financial sector.
