Attention of Authorized Dealers (ADs) is invited to EPD Circular Letter No. 02 dated January 22, 2003 and FD Circular Letter No. 03 dated April 20, 2023 regarding the captioned subject.
2. In this connection, it is informed that in terms of the Ministry of Finance & Revenue Notification No. S.R.O 2335(I)/2025 dated December 01, 2025 (copy enclosed), the Federal Government has exempted all exported goods from Export Development Surcharge levied under sub section (1) of section 11 of the Finance Act 1991, with immediate effect. Accordingly, the above-referred SBP s Circular Letters stand withdrawn immediately.
3. ADs are advised to bring the above instructions to the knowledge of all their constituents and ensure meticulous compliance.
