Waiver of Inter-Switch Fee/Charges on ATM Transactions for Temporarily Displaced Persons (TDPs) of North Waziristan Agency

Government of Pakistan has sanctioned payments of monthly cash assistance to Temporarily Displaced Persons (TDPs) of North Waziristan Agency which is being paid through ATM Cards. The programme is being managed by Federally Administrated Tribal Areas Disaster Management Authority (FDMA) who have requested for the grant in waiver of ATM Inter-Switch Fee/ charges.

2. Accordingly, it has been decided that the instructions issued earlier vide PSD Circular No.2 of 2014 and PSD Circular No.1 of 2015 on Waiver of Inter-Switch Fee/ Charges on ATM Transactions for BISP and Khidmat Cards respectively will also be applicable on all financial and non-financial transactions executed by TDPs of North Waziristan Agency under FDMA’s programme.
3. Compliance of these instructions shall be ensured meticulously with immediate effect. Non compliance to the instructions will attract penal action as per relevant laws.
