Dear Sir/Madam,

Advances Classified by Securities/Borrowers

1. Please refer to SBP letter No. DS.BS.1 (2)/2010-1004 dated August 10, 2010 and No. DS.BS.1 (16)/2012-1220 dated December 5, 2012, wherein all banks were required to submit the subject statement by 10th of the following month.
2. Also, refer to SBP letter NO DS.MFS. 016102/19 dated July 17, 2019 wherein all banks are advised to submit Loans Classified by Borrowers (A-07) statement on new format based on ISIC-4 and updated PRs of SME financing. This new format of A-07 covers Advances by Type of Securities pledged.
3. Banks have been submitting the subject data through above two statements since July 2019. SBP has decided to acquire the captioned data for the month of January, 2020 and onwards from A07 only (as in para 2 above).
4. To reduce the burden on banks the separate reporting of Advances Classified by Securities/Borrowers through Data Acquisition Portal (refer to para 1 above) is discontinued with immediate effect.

Banks shall develop a mechanism/layer to check and verify, before submissions on due date to S&DWH department, that ALL data are prepared according to the relevant guidelines.
