Prudential Regulations for Housing Finance

Dear Sirs/Madam,

Please refer to IH&SMEFD Circular No. 03 of 2017 containing Prudential Regulations for Housing Finance.

2. In order to promote Housing Finance in the country, it has been decided that regulatory real estate exposure limit prescribed vide Regulation HF-5 shall not be applicable on ‘Housing Finance’ as defined in the Prudential Regulations for Housing Finance.
3. All other instructions on the subject shall, however, remain unchanged.
